Chromatic Typewriter

The nearly forgotten workhorse of literature creation has found a new career as an abstact artist. Tyree Callahan tricked a classic 1937 Underwood typewriter into making paintings by replacing the letters with tiny sponges. Each pad is wet with a different color of the sprectrum. If you look closely, you can almost make out a quick brown fox jumping over a lazy dog.
